The BowGuard M360 rock shield is the ultimate boat protection system. Simply put, there is nothing like it on the market. It protects the front, sides and the bottom of your boat.
The BowGuard M360 is made of medium density poly ethylene plastic and is virtually indestructible. Rocks and road debris will not cut or chip the plastic. It is non porous. Mud, clay, bugs and bird droppings easily wash off with soapy water. Road tar and pitch are easily removed with gas.
Other trailer mounted bow guards use mesh cloth, or plastic coated mesh cloth that are easily cut and destroyed by sharp crushed rock used on highway aprons and on most logging roads. The main body of the BowGuard M360 consists of a single molded piece of MDPE plastic that bolts to the trailer directly behind the trailer winch and is virtually indestructible. It cannot be dented. It does not break.
The BowGuard M360 is molded with a bottom that protects the boat hull from rocks bouncing up under the boat.
Unlike other rock shields that rely on tubing to hold the mesh up and which are easily bent if an object is accidently hit while moving the trailer, the BowGuard M360 will not bend, break, snag or dent. There are no flimsy aluminium posts, tubing or mesh that can be hooked or damaged.
Due to its design, the BowGuard M360 never touches your boat and unlike a boat bra never wears the paint off. Furthermore, a boat bra is a hassle because you have to take it off to go fishing and put it on when you want to go home. It is just one more thing that slows you down when you want to get your boat in the water and start fishing or just load the boat and head for home.
